HOW TO USE

After shampooing hair, apply a generous amount of deep conditioner to clean, damp hair. Comb gently through hair from root to ends to thoroughly distribute the conditioner. Place a plastic cap over your hair and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For an Intense Deep Treatment: Sit under a hooded dryer with a plastic cap over your hair or sit under a hair steamer with no plastic cap for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

I purchased this Dec23 and finally used it a few months ago. I absolutely LOVE this dc. A little goes along way all you need is water and the product spreads so good. The product is so silky and creamy, feels so good on my hair. I am a tingle girl so the peppermint alone sold this for me. Scalp feels so go as I have a scalp condition. I will stock up on this when it comes back. Miche this needs to be in a full collection (refresher, gel, shampoo!!)

When I tell you this has been the best product that I’ve used so far this fall in winter I’m not kidding!!!!! I love to do twist outs when it’s cold outside to prevent from getting sick with all the wash and goes, and when I tell you that I left this in my hair twisted for only two days !! How did I get here: Shout out to Faye in the City on YouTube My hair: I'm Black with Type 4, coarse-ish hair. Jury is out on porosity, seems like a weird mix. Let's say indecisive - is that a type? lol. My hair (stretched and gently pulling to mimic straightening), is approaching mid-back. Status at the time: This was just a normal wash day. I typically keep my hair in smedium - yes smedium - twists. Smell and Consistency: Creamy, but not "hold the jar upside down and nothing happens" kind of thickness. Smells of peppermint *candy*. Most items with peppermint smell like the essential oil, but this had a sweet candy smell to me. Experience: The SLIP in this was just wonderful for me. My ingredients junkies, look at that slippery elm, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, and veg glycerin. Sliiiiiip. Even my stubborn crown area (uncooperative even when stretched) fell in line better with this. I'm a little heavy-handed and my hair is on the longer side, so I did need almost the whole jar. Result: I put mine right back in twists, so I can't speak on whether this plays nice with a twist out or anything like that. My hair felt soft and smelled SO GOOD. I saw Brahmi high on the ingredient, which is ayurvedic, soooo I suppose this is a moisture-protein balanced product. That's excellent because the guessing games for which way to go and when had me stressed. Balance is what I need.
